More of Idaho

John and Melissa took us fishin while we were in Idaho. John loved teaching Jete how to catch fish.

First you have to find a good fishin hole.
Then put on some good bait.
Next, cast your line out.
And then sit back, and wait.

Walahhh! It's as easy as that.

Jete catches a fish.
(When Jete saw the fish flippin around out of the water after it was caught, he wasn't sure what to think.)

John's tricks must've worked. Cuz it really was as easy as that. We caught fish like crazy!

Cookin up our dinner.

One might wonder what Jerzi was doing this whole time....
gettin some lovin, of course!

Crazy Jete enjoyin the life of a fisherman.

Girls in the bushes......
hmmm, wonder what they're doing. :)

The kids were laughing like crazy, having a good ol' time on the boat ride back to the pickup.

That's right, I take pictures while Maycee and Jete hold the boat at the dock for us. :)

Miss Jerzi girl and her little diva self, waiting for the pickup.

We also got to hang out with our good friends for a little bit while we were there. Jeter and Cole were so excited to play with each other, even though they only get to see each other like once a year. They're only a few weeks apart and are sure to get into trouble when they're with each other. I came out to check on them and this is what I see.
After I told them to leave the girls alone, they both instantly turned on each other. So funny!

My mom took us to the zoo in Idaho Falls. The kids always love the zoo and have a good time.

Good thing they don't care about the wreaky stench that came from these animals, especially the penguins. Wow! Those are some stinky things.

Jerzi was super shy the whole time we were in Idaho, and really had a hard time warming up to anybody. But Grandma McArthur was her best friend after she pushed her on the swings. She followed her everywhere, and begged her for more "wing".

I mentioned in an earlier post that we went to the sand dunes for Jete and Maycee's birthday party. It was fun to watch how different Jete and Jerzi both reacted to the sand since it was something new for both of them.

Jete dove right in and started rolling down the hills and scooping it up.
Jerz on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with it, but I did finally get her to touch it...
with one finger.

We got to hang with my cute neice and nephew. It makes me so sad that we don't get to be around them more. Our kids are really close in age and they would have tons of fun together.

Jerzi's messy cake face.

I took Jerzi out on a little ride with just us two, where she could relax and not have to worry about others talking to her or grabbing her. She became herself again and was having so much fun. She wouldn't stop smiling. I missed her being like this while we were there.
(She was seriously so shy almost the whole two weeks we were there.)

We were constantly just going going going while we were in Idaho, so it was good to just go out for a ride with each of my kids by ourselves for a little bit.

And last but not least, there's no way I could leave out this next little adventure, even though I wasn't actually there for it. While we went through the temple with Rob and Kenzie, Broc and Sam took our kids out to a little race track, and took pictures for me too. Jete has not stopped talking about it since. He had so much fun! It was like his dream come true.

I think Broc took him around first....

Then they let him drive by himself!
He's so pumped!

You probably can't tell on here, but close up you can see the look of concentration on his face.
I love it!

Ridin with the "big boys."

Up over hills.

Now that he's feeling confident in his driving skills, of course he starts doing tricks...
look, one hand! Go Jete! :)

Even Jerzi got in on a little ridin action.

And a big sucker too. Ahh, what fun!

There is so much more that I want to write about, or put pictures on here about, but it's already getting too long, and too many pics. Our Idaho trip was so much fun and I just want to say that I seriously think I have the best families ever. Everyone was so awesome and were so good to us. We had a blast while we were there, and it was all thanks to the best grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Thank you so much for everything and for all the time you spent with us. We will never forget it!

Kenzcat and Robdogg got married!

Which means....Idaho trip for us!!!

Even though it was Hadley's own sister getting married, he couldn't come with us because he just barely started his residency program and couldn't take any time off. So it was just me and the kids. Last time I flew by myself with my kids was probably one of the worst experiences ever and I swore I would never do that again. But then when you have a family member get married...how do you not go if you have the chance? You better believe I prayed like crazy that my kids would be good on the plane, and nothing would go wrong. My prayers were answered and they were gems, and everything went as smoothly as I've ever had any flight go. It was awesome!

Then we got to Idaho.

It was awesome as well.

I love Idaho in the summer, and we haven't been there in the summer for 3 years. So I was so excited. We got to do so much, and everyone was so nice to us. My kids loved it, and now Jete says when we move again, he wants to move to Idaho.

The Newlyweds! YAY!!!

Kenzie is probably one of the cutest girls I know. She is just as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the out. I love her. I'm so excited for her and Rob to be married, and for us to have another person added to our fam.

Hangin out waiting for them to come out of the temple.

These next few pics are some of my favorites from that day.

Blayne and Kenz.
(He was so proud, I loved to watch it.)

Kenz and her "protectors".

Brayden carryin the train on Kenz's dress. It just kinda reminds me of their relationship and how close they are. I loved it. :)

The Reception Pics

First we got the boys in the family

(minus Had and John)

Then there's the girls

And all the cute kids

The little cuties runnin around the reception.

Jete and his pal Jevteen
(In case you can't tell, Jete has a huge goose egg in the middle of his forehead.)

Havin fun

My own (sometimes) sweet little munchkins.

Cuttin the cake

While we were in Idaho, we got to spend a lot of time with all three families, and we loved every second of it. Every night when I would put Jete down for bed he would say, "Mom, I don't want to go to sleep, I'm just having too much fun here."

We went for a walk with a bunch of my fam. Jete wanted us to all race...a lot.

We stopped at this pond over by my parents house, so Bud could show us his muscles. HAHA Not really, but he is kissing his muscles in this picture. Nice.
One minute we were throwing rocks in the pond, next minute we look over and Jete had dropped his pants and was seeing how far he could pee into it. Gotta love boys!

Bird and Jerzi havin some bonding time.

Jerz showin us her skills on the tricycle

(She is only one year old, even though she looks like she's three in this pic.)

Grandma Fuller showed Jete how to find strawberries.

Jeter and Maycee loved this big blow-up waterslide thing and played for hours on it. It was so weird for me to just let him play outside for hours, without me having to be out there with him. I know bad things can happen anywhere, including Rexburg, but its so different coming from Cleveland or Houston, where there's so much bad stuff going on all the time, and I am always worrying. No worries here. I love Rexburg!

John, Melissa, and the fam all took us on a little 4-wheeler ride up in the mountains. I love the mountains and I love to ride in them. And I want our kids to love them too. That has been one of the sad things about living away from there....my kids don't get to experience things like this. So I was super excited to take them.

Ready to ride!

Looks like I didn't have to do very much convincing for them to like it.

We lit a fire and roasted hot dogs and had smores. My kids were in heaven, and loved every second of it. Yay! Looks like we'll have to live somewhere with mountains!

We went to Rexburg's new water park with Leslie and Ashton. The kids liked it, but
as usual, the wind was blowing a little bit, so they got cold. (Plus, they're used to 100* scorching weather everyday.) They came and curled up in their towels to get warm and fell asleep. Too much playing!

It was such a beautiful day though! I love to see blue skies and big puffy clouds. I didn't realize how much I would miss stuff like that from living in Cleveland.

(Notice the kids in the bottom of the pic.)

I still have tons of pics, and stuff I want to document about our trip, so more will be coming soon.
