Party Pics

PARTY TIME!!!

I know i already posted about Jeter turning one years old, but I had to post pics of his b-day parties (and yes, i said parties) for all the wonderful people that threw him parties, and came, and gave him presents. Thank you so much to all of you. We originally planned to not have a birthday party at all, just a little cake and ice cream so we could get a few pictures and call it good. After all, he's only one, and won't remember it. But each family wanted to have "a little cake and ice cream" for him. And you know me, i'm always up for any kind of desserts, so we gave in and had a little cake and ice cream...... 3 times!

Round 1

Grandpa and Grandma Fuller's: At first he didn't know what to think. He just stared at everyone, probs wondering why everyone was looking at him. He acted all shy and didn't know what to do.

He got brave and did a little taste-test.

But this is as messy as he got, a little on his lips and finger. Not too bad 'eh? (Don't ya love my little neice in the background? I don't think you could get a bigger bite in her mouth if you tried. Haha I love it!)

Round 2
Grandpa and Grandma Pocock's: He kind of knew what was going on this time, and was a little more enthused. He kept trying to grab the flame.

He was excited to eat the cake. I won't mention any names here, but a certain couple of grandmas thought that he was too clean the way he was eating, so they stuck his hands and feet in it. :) It was actually pretty funny, but he didn't really love it. So we gave him a spoon, and he was lovin life.

I just thought this picture was cute, so i had to put it on. Jete is sharing the frosting on his fingers with his friend Cole. (We pretty much separated these two at birth, so it was fun to see them play together. More pics of these two munchkins later.)

Round 3
Grandpa and Grandma McArthur's: Jete totally knew what he was doing by the third time. He tried diving in as soon as we put the cake in front of him. We had to hold his hands down just so we could get a picture. When we wouldn't let him dive right in, he started getting all mad. Of course, he got what he wanted, but only cuz it was his birthday. :)

One happy, messy little boy!

Fuller Fest

Every other year, we have a reunion with my family. This includes just my immediate family....which is pretty difficult to get all of us together at once, since there is 10 kids, spread out all over the U.S. But it's always so much fun to get together with everyone. We were lucky that it was during the time we went home for Had's summer break. We rented a cabin in Ashton, and all eight couples, 15 grandkids, and the 3 that aren't married yet stayed under the same roof. It gets a little crazy when we're all together if you can imagine, but it's so much fun! I love all the craziness of it. We also got one of those blow up water slides for one of the days we were there. It was a big hit.

While the kids really enjoyed it......

I think the grown ups enjoyed it more!

All the brothers and brother in-laws started having races- first one down the slide wins. I didn't get a picture of the back of this, but that was probably the best part. There's a little ladder-type thing to climb up to the top, and if you can imagine, 6 grown boys were all fighting and pulling each other down that, so they could be the first one to get to the top and slide down. Then they decided to change things up and race up the slide. It was hilarious!

His cousins Toj, Dax, and Athen playing with Jete. There were so many kids there, it was fun to see them all play together. They were so cute with Jete, they were following him around, making him laugh like crazy. He couldn't get enough of it.

We also had a big marshmallow war. I was terrible at it. I kept shooting them straight down on the ground, or they would just fall out of my gun, but i did manage to get a few good sneak shots in on some unexpecting peeps. It was fun, even though the little kids were better at it than me. We even had a contest to see who could shoot theirs the farthest. I was the picture taker, cuz mine wouldn't even shoot out.

There was a lot of laughs, playin, crafts, and skits.

My little sister was in Jr. Miss this last year, and so the planners of the reunion thought it would be fun/funny to have a little jr. miss of our own. We had to learn a dance (if any of you know me, or anyone in my family very well, you know that we don't dance, except for Bird) . So we performed a dance/fitness routine, had to do a talent, and there was a poise part too.

Here's the performers

Thanks Mom, Dad, Kerr and Zach for all that you did to make this happen.

One Year Old

Our little boy is one year old now! (His birthday was actually July 20th, but we were gone.) It's crazy how fast it went by. Really. I can still remember it all too well the day he was born. It has been so fun to see him grow and develop and learn new things. He's changed so much since he was born, but has always been such a happy baby. We love this little guy more than anything! Here he is, one month at a time....

Someday...

We lost something while we were on vacation. So someday, when i find our cord (that hooks our camera to the computer) or go buy one, I will post again. I have a ton of pictures that were taken of our trip back home, and Jeter's birthday, but i guess they will have to wait.
